Who’s-Who of this Year’s Exhibitors Continued from page 17 Hill explains. “Once that 100LL order is submitted, it will ONLY show up in 100LL trucks. Same with Jet A. There’s no mishearing the quantity or fuel type, it’s recorded electronically, obvious for users to see. It’s a simple solution, but that’s what I believe it needs to be for pilots, customer service and line techs to all be on the same page. Speaking with mem- bers of the NATA Safety Committee was extremely helpful and led to some great updates to the system.” The name is no accident; Hill’s goal is to make implementation and use of EasyFBO seamless. “We’ve been hearing that FBOs want a turn-key solution and to keep things simple, so that’s exactly what we’ve done,” he says. “We aren’t replacing their invoicing software, we aren’t making them sign up with a mobile-phone service provider or buy tablets. We are simply providing a better way to manage the fuel order workflow to help their FBO become much more efficient. We provide all of the tablets (4G LTE service included), access to the software portal, on-site support during the launch and con- tinued 24/7 support over the phone. The system is easy to pick up and use without our help, but we want to be there so FBOs have the best experience possible. When working at an FBO, you go out of your way to provide VIP service to your custom- ers. That’s the same way I want us to be at EasyFBO toward FBOs. From auto-populating meter numbers to auto-calculating fuel quantities, we have been continuously working to make the system seamless and easy to use during this beta phase.” “With verbal communication, people can misspeak and be misheard, and with written communication handwriting becomes a huge issue along with paper being easily lost in the shuffle.” Hill is looking for additional customers to come on board dur- ing the beta phase of development, and is currently offering the service with a startup fee of $2,000 and monthly operation costs of $499. “EasyFBO will be fully operational and ready for mass use in 2017, but we want to give the system at a discounted price to a few more beta customers and finalize a couple industry partnerships before we get to that point,” he says. “Right now is the best time to sign up to use EasyFBO because you’ll get a discounted price without having to be the first to use it. You’ll be a beta customer but will benefit from the updates and improvements we’ve been making over the past year.” Hill’s pitch to NATA members at the annual Aviation Business Conference was concise: “Our system will act like an extra employee for you but for a signifi- cantly lower cost. EasyFBO will help your service stand out compared to the guy across the field or down the road. We’ll bring out the tablets, help you start using the system and will be there for anything you need. What we want from you is advice and feedback on how we can make the system the best it can possibly be as we go into our full launch. We Aviation Business Journal | 3rd Quarter 2016 want to earn a testimonial from you like we did from our first customer, Shye Gilad, CEO of ProJet Aviation.” “The roll out of EasyFBO was just that: “Easy!” In just a few days, it has become the preferred method of handling fuel transactions,” Gilad wrote. “We are experienc- ing a significant reduction in radio chatter and communication errors, as well as an increase in customer satisfaction. This is a huge return on a relatively, small investment!” ProJet Aviation’s Director of FBO Operations, Julie O’Brien, was simi- larly effusive: “EasyFBO has solved several items for us,” she wrote. “The program has made the entire fuel ordering process more expedient. We have reduced our call out time and eliminated our need for manual fuel tickets. In addition, the program has reduced mathematical errors and the need to interpret individuals’ hand- writing. My entire FBO team eased into the transition in just a few hours with relatively no hassle. The program has been easy to understand, easy to initiate, and easy to implement with our current invoicing system, TFBO. I could not be happier with the results.” For more information or to sign up as a beta location, visit EasyFBO.com.
