President’s Message Continued from page 5 the panelists for an expanded article on the topic found on page 13 and read more about the MRO point of view on page 29. We are encouraged by the growing number of recruitment and retention programs in our great community. If you haven’t done so already, we urge you to reach out and develop part- nerships with local colleges, universities and other aviation businesses to advance these efforts throughout the industry. Another highlight of the ALC was the recognition of the great work of Josh and Julia Hochberg and their wonderful team at Sonoma Jet Center with NATA’s first Above and Beyond FBO award. We would like to extend our congratu- lations once again to Sonoma Jet Center. You can read more about their achievements on page 41. In the coming year, we look forward to recognizing more of our outstanding mem- bers that go the extra mile for their customers, staff, com- munities and industry. Please be sure to assist NATA in our mission to spotlight FBOs: Above and Beyond by submitting stories to www.nata.aero/aboveandbeyond. We are only as strong as our membership and would ask that you continue to help NATA support the vibrancy and integrity of our industry by staying engaged through one of our policy committees, joining NATA’s Presidents Council or networking with your colleagues at one of our 2019 events. I thank you for your support and look forward to celebrating many more successes for the aviation business community in the coming year.
